need help urgently!

Postby 86XFFairmont » May 19th, 2011, 7:25 pm

Hey guys how are you? i've just bought my first car which as my username says a 1986 ford XF Fairmont. Anyways i found a set of wheels on Ebay that were on a supra with the same stud pattern as the falcon. When i put a rear wheel on my car it was touching the chassis rail (i think) haha on the inside of the car. the wheels are 245/40ZR18 93W. can i make them fit without fucking around with it to much? what do i have to do to get them to fit?

Cheers, Chris

well if it hit's the rear, it big time wrong, sorry mate sell them off, and try again their the wrong offset, get some wheels in the correct offset of roughly +6, only pre au fords
lots use the stud pattern few in that offset.

35mm adaptors will be what he needs I'd imagine. My 18s were on a supra and fit my car perfectly with the adaptors

Spacers aren't legal though are they?

Yeah that was actually a question. Hence the question mark.
