That red Ef is one of the few I like without a kit. Just looks so clean and simple. 1+

Looks like it was taken at an AFD. But it's very clean. Not sure if it is an XR or not. This is the sort of thing I'd love to go for.

Can't recall his username now, but it was Daniel's car, from memory it was a 5 speed EF Futura, gunmetal gray. very schmick car.

Hi EFFalcon, Nice to meet youy. I hear that your car is a Legend as well, would love to see it one day!

As for this Daniel, does he still have this car and is he still on the forum? I would like to know what wheels/bodykit this car has and also how he got oval shaped side blinker.

That Red EF with the star shaped wheels looks insane!

Nup, Daniels long gone.
Car got sold and ended up looking fairly average from memory.

however it was simply a EL Tickford Bodykit, along with EL GT Wheels.

That's a factory EL XR kit, with EL GT wheels, they look like replica wheels.
How can you see the side repeaters in that pic? lol. They're probably from an EL Fairmont or NF/NL Fairlane.

Another mention is Benny Gatt's EA Falcon, 6.7x 1/4 mile, worlds fastest Ford, IIRC it was worlds fastest Cleveland and broke a world record in cubes/weight too.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxQe3kAu8BQ

This I picked up several years ago at an auction, for $10 :P
Image

Adrian Vella's EL caused much fapping over the years on #eseries lol.

Prices for everything have come down so much in the last 5-10 years it's not funny. In 2002/03 I remember looking at Vortech blowers, it was $8k for a kit to make 240kw at the fly. Things like intercoolers, you either bought a $1000 brand name Japanese cooler, or got a truck intercooler cut down and tanks welded on the end for $500. You either made your own exhaust manifold or paid someone $60ph to make a custom one for you.
It makes building a car these days so much cheaper/easier.

Does anyone remember who the first person was on here to turbo a 6? Apart from the AIT cars.

IMO 'Best of the best' would have to be the whole deal.. not just a nice car with wheels and a bodykit.
Needs to be awesome inside/out and have excessive power... even tho i still love cars like TUFFED6 where its more about go than the show!

Doug's first set of wheels were Boyd Coddington smoothies. They were 17". Can't really compare Damo Rydnlo's EF with Doug's EF I reckon. It's the same but different. Doug's car had brand new paint and brand new wheels.

I almost bought that EF in the first picture in tapeworm's post. One of my biggest car related regrets :( It was absolutely MINT. 10/10. Fresh bare metal respray, brand new headlights and mint FR17. No go to match the show, and interior showed it's age. That was back in '06.

And I lol'd @ Dylan's post.

Is Doug's red EF the one that had the stamp marks under the door handles smoothed and shit?
And Doug also had the blue TT EA yeah? With the aforementioned Boyds.

Was the grey EF owners username ELDanny or something that had EF Futura 5Spd in it ?

Haha yeah that's right, I forgot. Doug went to extra efforts to smooth out the "factory dent" under the front door handles. And yeah, TT EA with the Boyds. TT never really got anywhere good though, he sold the kit to Tibbo / Racecraft off AFF after canary number 3 I think it was.

Yeah ELDanny's EF was pretty mint too. I think he's still on AFF. Current rides are an F6310 ute, FG XRT ute and a Renault Megane sport or some shiat. More loaded than needfordspeed.

I never noticed they have the dent ntil he pointed it out. Now it stands out like dogs balls on most cars lol.

The TT kit was shit lol, I was looking at it at Heathcote when I drove over once, it had 2 threaded rods to adjust the angles of the flapper valves to control boost, and he couldn't work out why it was spiking so much.

Wonder if you can still buy the Boyds..

Yes you can.
