Do I eat too much? How much do you eat at McDonalds???

Hey guys, just wanted to know if the amount I eat is way over normal, or just a little bit more than the average person

Today (and every other day) when I went to McDonalds I ordered the following for lunch
1 double quarter pounder
1 McOz burger
10 McNuggets
1 Large Chips
1 Large Coke.
Assorted Sauces.

The person serving me today looked very amused when I said "dine in" and I was the only person there, so I'm curious as to whether it's considered to be a lot, or just a little more than average.

How much do you guys eat in an average Maccas sitting?

I usually go for the large quarter pounder meal and one of them deli rolls so i feel like i haven't eaten a meal composed entirely of fat. Doesn't quite fill me up, but it's a decent meal.

My brother and I used to make a meal that was a kilo of mince in pasta sauce poured on top of two large bags of corn chips in a tray, topped with cheese. Best afternoon snack EVER.

So if you eat this 3 times a week, you probably won’t get fat if the rest of the shit you eat is fairly healthy. Other than that, there ain't much takeaway that appeals to me anymore... Except subway! The subway here now exactly what i want everytime i come in AND they give me $2 off and a free cookie and drink! Pays off if you eat it almost every day you work.

My mate that I mentioned has a large quarter pounder meal and 3 cheeseburgers is easily the fittest athletic out of all my mates. I mean we all play footy and cricket but he plays for the Preston Bullants in the VFL so its about more then just what you eat. Im a good 10kg overweight but my weight blows out during the offseason and then I lose it all again during footy season.

It does have a lot to do with physical activity. I heard one hour physical activity raises your metabolism so much that you're actually burning fat non-stop for the next 24 hours.

Not that I'm into diets and exercise or whatever (or that i know how correct it is) - i just found that interesting.

I used to eat take away three times a day when I was driving tow trucks, brekky between 4-6am 8-10 weetbix, morning munchies around 10-11am brekky menu was 4 sausage and egg muffins and a coffee, lunch around 2-3pm 2 1/4 pounders cheeseburger large fries and large shake, dinner around 7-9pm 2 1/4 pounders cheesburger large fries large sundae and large shake then maybe a feed when I got home around 10pm and anywhere from 8-20 coffees throughout the day and maybe 3-6 litres of coke or similar and smoke somewhere between a pack to 2 packs a day

If I went to hungry jacks 2 double whoppers large fries and large coke, KFC 3 chicken burgers large chips and coke, pizza shop large pizza and a lasagne and the best was the fish and chip shop 2 burgers w/lot min chips

Sad part is I did this pretty much 6-7 days a week for 3 years, nowadays I eat a lot less and Im heavier than ever before go figure..???

nowadays at maccas 2 lean beef burgers and a double 1/4 large fries and maybe a sundae or a shake

still drink way too much coffeeand smoke too much... but meh.... ya gotta die sometime

LOL, I'm 85kg and 6'1... but I'm very very athletic because of my profession. My resting heart-rate is around 50bpm.

I find I'm the same as schmee, in that when i eat less I gain wait, but if i keep my intake cranked then my metabolism is ultra fast.

PS. I can eat a 450gm T-bone in 2 minutes (in a civilised manor mind you) so I eat fast too hahaha.

I'm 74kg and 5'11" possibly even 6 foot now (I hope lol and from standing next to other 6 footers and being the same height) - haven't measured my height in ages

I put on 11 of those kg's in the last 9-10 months from going to gym hardout to try and build some muscle mass. It was a slow start but I've been hitting it hard for the last 4 months almost, going down about 4 times a week to train for half of that time and 5 times a week the other half. Starting to notice some good gains finally.

That's why I try to steer clear of that shit but once or twice a wk never hurts ey.
