It features all-black styling and a new front bumper. Mechanicals are unchanged.

Cheers.

Looks mad!

Trust Ford to do a 'concept car' that only has new wheels and paint! Surely they could have put a 500kw badge on it or something ;-)

as a concept its pretty poor,
it does look good, and i wouldn't say no to it.

bring back the days where they had real concepts on display.
Sequential
Predator
Sony Xplod

even if it had a massive in your face front mount atleast it'd appear to be different.

Hardly a concept, A cool promotional tool for a new mad max movie yet it still lacks *old* school blower

And the Terra!!

Seems like that car is getting displayed to gauge public interest in FPV/Prodrive selling performance parts.
Tough looking car though, just needs the rear guards pumped to match the front IMO.
And projector headlights, ffs Ford.

Its not really a 'concept' car in a sense, more of a realistic car that will actually come out.

Its got coilovers, etc as well so it handles even better.

Alot of KPM gear in there too, those of you who were at FPV day will know what thats like :P

has the KPM gear been confirmed?
the articles about it state its a stocker. not that its a reliable source, but it seems like a pretty big thing to get wrong.

Same wheels and from whats been floating around on the various pages on FB, seems that KPM has had a part in either this car, or to do the other bolt ons in the future

Oh, didn't realise it was on Facebook. Must be true then.... :P

The KPM wheels look a lot like what many tuner Mercedes have fitted. If it had Azzuros, everyone would jump to the conclusion it's a Herrod car.

What a shit effort. Wheels and paint, and they call it a concept.

Terra, Sequential, Predator, XploD AU, that yellow XH (the name escapes me), RTV, that gangsta G220, DRIF6 <== Bring back those days.

Xh was sandfire

I'm in 2 minds it looks tough as **** but as said it's been hyped up too much. Could have done so much better.

Sandfire! I was trying to remember too.
The first Motor Shows I went to had the cars mentioned. If i knew what fapping was back then, I would have.

The Drive article is pretty dodgy. This isn't FPVs first 'concept car', they didn't see the Maloo-minator or Galaxie 540. The GT-HO hasn't been announced, it's just speculation. The article does mention a 'future release' though, this could simply be what the FG2/Whatever FPV cars will look like. Ford have a heap of new stuff to release in the next 12 months (New LPG Injection motors, EcoBoost, I'd dare say a TDi Falcon, OneFord integration) and FPV could just be watching to see what people think.

Seeing as the article is dated today, it seems Drive just read the press pack and relayed what FPV wrote in it. I doubt going to the Motorshow would show up anything new, unless you could pop the bonnet before you got tackled by 30 security guards :D

I'm the first to bag Drive when they talk crap, but to be fair the claim is made by FPV itself.

Ford Performance Vehicles today revealed its first-ever 'concept car' at the Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne.

to be fair most of the concepts mentioned were done by tickford, not fpv.

i thought the only fpv concept was the turbo 6 gt?
