The 200$ eb 5.0ltr. black box under dash.

hey all i was wondering what the black box under driverside dash with the word "CARSURE" written across it, has 4 plugs running in and out of it. if some one could please define what this unit is would be greatfull as i was driving along and the car shut its self off and it started making a random buzzing noise untill i turned the key off and back on.

well as i find out "carsure" is an aftermarket car alarm and immobiliser workshop. so now i have to work out wtf is wrong with it.. 1 of the cappassitors inside the unit looked burnt out around the bands. wonder if its shorted :/

Could be something to do with the CIA.
