New Stickered Cars

Had Rmyers and SnyperEB over yesterday as i was mucking around with the new logo ideas.
figured since we had a few boosted cars we'd make up some stickers and slap them on.
heres some pics.
the text was already existing stickers they had on their car, i just made up the logo.
I'll be making up a few batches soon if anyones interested.

Looking good John. I don't like stickers on the EL but that's the first one I've ever seen that I'd put on it. Transformer stylez, like Dave said.

They are a great looking sticker, I like the idea that someone can look at that symbol and work out what it means without any prior knowledge of the club. 9 thumbs up

I think I just came a little.
I'll take two, but one of them needs to be reversed - I want to put them on the quarter glass, and they both need to be facing forewards.

i'm doing these free of charge.
there will be a little bit of a wait for the chrome ones John, but yeah. I'll try and get some vinyl this week.
For the QLD guys i'd like to send a bunch of them up to one person, then they can give them out. saves me postage issues since i'm not charging for em.
I'll knock some up this week and have mirrored ones available.

hmm very nice
i would like some, but not straight away ill wait until i finish getting my car running na b4 i put turbo gear on it, i dont feel right putting them on the car when its not boosted.

I think he means ones like I asked for - 'left' and 'right' side ones, so that when they are stuck on the quarter glass the Falcon faces forewards on both sides of the car.
We're more than happy to pay for them man, call it a 'donation' to the site or something. Use the money to get some more smilies

Farken awesome!!! Can you get the impeller pattern superimposed on that sticker design though?

me and shaun tries to do something with the impeller but couldn't get anything that looked half decent.
decided less is more and it looks a lot tidier.

My example is a little rough, but the best way to have straight impeller blade lines look "spiral" is to have them running off the tangent of the circle in the middle. Here's an extremely rough 2 minute Paintbrush job I did as an example. I added some small trailing edges to emphasise the "spiral" look
The lines are probably too thick, but meh.
Less-is-more (as you've put it) works too, looks like the fecker is spooling actually!

XS-Power ones aren't electric, they are cast from melted down cortina's in a rice mould.
