Au throttle body

Postby nxw990 » July 26th, 2011, 9:53 pm

Putting an au manifold on my ed 6cyl, having some trouble fitting it over the metal hose coming from the water pump and around the back of the engine, any idea on how to without cutting the hose

From memory when you do a BBM conversion, you have to change that metal pipe to suit the manifold your using.

Definitely have to change over the metal hose to the BBM one, as it bolts to the back of the manifold. Speaking of which, don't forget that bolt, as without it you will have leaks behind the waterpump (learned the hard way!)
