i asume you're referring to the indent that runs along the doors, at door handle height.

if so, then yes its been done.

Theres a Wagon being built on Fordmods/AFF with it filled, but its still in primer.

Can't recall if the Purple Turbo EF that had shaved door handles had filled that line or not.

I'd like to think I'm pretty open minded and to each their own and all that, but that wagon is a total abortion (and not one of those clinic abortions, I'm talking rusty coathanger here)

that wagon is/was pretty crappy looking, but the whole reason i put this up was to see if other people had tried it and what they thought of it.

Ive done it to my ED sedan and it looks tops and others have also said it looks great plus mine is still in primer but you get the picture i still get looks wherever i go because its different and people saying it looks good.

I agree with EFFalcon there, while its in primer put AU door handles in it. Would be completely different from anything out there, and it would look pretty mint. Otherwise I think that it is kind of pointless to remove the hipline from the car.

its staying like that now no more modding to the outside just waiting on a time so i can get a booth.

I like to think that the door handles look like theyre floating kinda thing as with the line there they looked like they were sitting on the line.

Its my way of smoothing the outside plus ive put on a ef/el fuel flap to add to the smoothness.

in my eyes it looks great and different if you dont know its been smoothed you just look at it and think theres something that has been changed but unsure what

yeah just bog then fine fill to make it smooth, when im sanding it back to get ready for paint ill probs have to go back over it with fine fill bog just to make it smooth and at the right level as its sunk a little over time but most of it is level, i was a Trades Assistant spraypainter and thats where i know my stuff so ive learnt alot on this car.

Also im keen on seeing it painted its been too long in primer *cough*1 year*cough*

I think I remember reading one here some time about something, people called it the "factory dint" on EF/L. Behind one of the door handles or something? That's all I remember...

If you look behind the drivers door handle between the edge of the door and the handle, theres a small dint.
its in all EF/EL's unless its been filled/painted :P

In other words the ED was the last decent Ford made?

Oh no as soon as I seen the plates on the car I realized who the guy was, he ruined his blue EL sedan and turned it into a road going racecar display, pretty sure it has rubber snakes glued to the dash too  How can your taste be that bad seriously
