I brought an xg s pack ute for parts. The bloke i brought it off said that it has 4.11s in it. Every where i look ford never came out with one. What diff would it have in it? He reckons it sits at 2,900rpm at 100kmp/h. It seems pretty high. Seeing that my xg with a single in it sits at just over 2,000rpm.

Thatd be about right.
Pintara centers fit, and there's the whole aftermarket deal.....

Probably had a 3.08 as stock.
Definitely need to think about what the majority of your driving is when changing diff ratios. To make matters worse, 4.11 does not necessarily mean quicker acceleration considering you need more gear changes.

In top gear though? Mine sits at around 2100-2200 in 5th with 3.45s

3.23s with a manual sit at 2k. 3.45s 2200. So yes, 2900 is about right for 4.11s

This calculator seems to be the most accurate that I can find. It's spot on for my car.

Was it at all annoying or drony sitting on 2450?

Wasn't too bad with resonator. Without it was a bit droney.
