tail lights darkened

hi everyone if someone could help out? I want to do the smoky look etc darken the tail lights. Just to know how its done.

It's worth mentioning as a disclaimer that you will find it's illegal to do this mod. Not that it would be expensive to get another set of lights if you had to, but just worth mentioning all the same.

it is illegal, but mine have been done for probably 6+months now and ive been pulled over for a few things and theyve never mentioned it.
there is an excel with taillights so dark no light gets out and its still going too. thats been around for 2 or 3 months at least

ive never actually heard of someone being defected or warned about tinted lights

yer my indicators and tailights have been done for about a year and they havnt said a thing... and cops follow me all the time so i guess they dont give a shit.. its pretty easy to see brakelights through it.. Because its all dark it doesnt light up the whole tailight but kinda just where the bulb is. Looks heaps cool.

I did my spoiler light and instead of looking like just a square red light it shows up like a line of led's..

Still the least amount of coats looks better.. Doesnt seem to go dull.

youll find tinting your tailights is illegal but cops dont really care aslong as you can see the lights but you will get knocked back for rego if the guy is an asshole
