Boosted Falcon

With the oldest of the E series now in there 20's and the youngest being 10, these falcons produced between 1988-1998 arn't exactly new technology. What is the highest milage RUNNING E series you've seen so far?

I'll put mine in as:

POS 1988 EA 2 Spac T5- 380,000. ( I think with the factory Headgasket aswell)

i think Ripz EL is an ex cab and has done like 500,000 kms.. maybe wrong but not sure..

Rips EL FTMFW! I think it was 960,000 km's or something.

Higher than that guys. At a mini meet a few months back it was 985,000..

My dad had an 88 EA GLi about 6 or so years ago that was both an ex taxi and ex Qld police car and it had done 580,000, except the odo had already gone around once so it was actually 1,580,000 kms!! It was on the original block still, but it's 4th or 5th head, 3rd transmission, etc.
He sold it about 6 years ago, and I believe it's still going now, so it would have even more kms on it!

Rips' is the highest on the boosted forums. Before he went overseas it had just clicked over 997,000km on the original bottom end.

His uncle's AU did 1.3 million before being decom'd late last year.

BTW MRDOSE has 403,000km on it.

wow those are high numbers my old 88 ea only had 280*** on it and i thought it was high.

My XR8 has 187,526...I reckon I'll be one of the lowest ones haha. Engine has been rebuilt (started with a new block etc) when all the work was done, so god knows how many k's the engine has done.

sorry mate my XR8 has 186xxx, beat u with that. And lowest that i have seen is my brothers/dads EA S-Pack that we have had since it came from ford with a grand total of 155xxx!!!!!!!!!!! It'll be up for sale very shortly so anyone want a low k's EA???

300k on the EF, runs beautifully (on petrol that is... its tempremental with the SHIT gas system)

365k on the EB. Treated like shit since 250k, shows some signs of wear & tear ( ) but still going strong. Original tranny lasted 350,000 but died suddenly when a trans cooler hose randomly split.

Old ED mont had 330,000 (from memory) when I stacked it. Cluster lives on in ebturbs car.
Sprint has 112,000, clicked over 100,000 when I was driving it back from sydney when I got it.
ED Mont had 105,000 on it when I got it, genuine as far as I could tell, now 135,000.
23% of that 30,000kms is from the speedo being out but
BF will click over 11k on the way home from work this arvo

i was looking on trading post the other day and found a ea s pack with 88xxx km

The EB had 105000km when i got it 2 months ago. Have only put about 1500ks on it since.

my EF has 357k, and i know of an EB XR6 with 65k on it

i got an EA with 162,xxx km's

Shame the k's don't represent the condition.

oh btw my ed xr6 had 125.000 it looked like it to till it got f#@#@ over by some littel gangsters f$%$%# heads

my daily is a late 94 ed ,on gas, non ex-taxi with 460 on the clock! still going strong, i beat a vy exec the other day, i could hear the vy screaming its head off. My mate looked at me and cracked up laughing.

the lowest ive ever seen was a DC LTD with only 37,000 on the clock this was only at the end of last year and the next would be an EA fairmont ghia with around 54,000 and next would be a ED fairmont with 68,000
