Yea I saw this, pretty friggen nice intake setup!
Dunno about dangling the spark wires over the exhaust tho. He gives it unlimited shit on the track and they haven't melted tho, so must be OK...

Id be more worried about the recovery tank for the coolant being lower then the head, but other then that it all looks veh nice.
What sort of power is it supposedly getting?
Didn't ORSMEB/Steve reckon 220rwkw or some shit?

I asked this same question on AFF, and was told it's in the high 160's or so at the wheels. If that's the case, harldy seems to justify the time or expense. Looks awesome though!

Lol. He was aiming at around 200rwkw. I don't know 220rwkw came from. He has around 165rwkw at the moment.
It has a crap cam he has told me and needs to be changed.
He is not all that happy with how much power the car has, so he will be changing it for sure.
As for joining up to the forums...he doesn't know anything about computers AT ALL! So I don't see him joining in the near future.
It's a sweet car none the less though. He took me for a spin in it! It's alright.

I didn't think it was a JMM car anymore either ? Are those recent pics ?
Maybe Justin is stupid... perhaps ?

Justin's all over the shop.
It isn't JMM anymore. He got sponsored by some other company when he was drifting one day on the track. They took his car and rebuilt the engine for him...
I'm not honestly sure how you convert rwkw to rwhp, so I'm not sure what 230rwhp is actually in rwkw.

ORSMEB,
nommic, he said 230 rwkw, not hp
230 kilowatts = 308 hp

Surely he'd have a pump to pump the coolant back up to the head.... somehow wired in with the thermostat

Another noob question: How is the throttle controlled with this intake??
As in, where's the throttle body? Or is there 6 on this intake?
Confused

Huh? Not having the header tank at the highest point means the air trapped in the cooling systems gonna sit at the highest point, which looks like the head. Thats bad.

Have a close look at the first pic Geren, there are linkages in the middle of all 6 throttle bodies. Looks to be cable operated, so instead of opening one big throttle body on the normal setup it would open all six.
