I have a 1992 EB series II
Which keeps blowing pressure switches at least 1 a year I guess for the last 6 years.

Has any one else suffered this grief and what is the real fix to this fault.

Also issues with the steering rack it has been replaced twice in 11 years

bit of shielding between the switch and exhaust would help to.

They're a part that wears out with use..

I think drifting must make them last longer then, because I've never needed to replace one out of any of my cars :D

Lol maybe. :rotfl:
Thinking about it one of them wasn't from failure (I put el xr front end and steering in the car when I was going to convert to NL interior) so I guess can't be counted
But the others were from seal failure filling the boots with oil. I guess if I'd fitted new rather than second hand ones it wouldn't have happened.. But still.

It'd had a rack changed before I got it too - a 6 cyl one was fitted (v8s don't have a pressure switch so isn't hard to tell)
