What made the 5L falcon quicker over the 1/4 then the 5L commodore? Considering they made the same kw and falcon weighed in 120kg heavier?

the Ford had a bit more torque, quite possibly better tyres.
given that its an EA, and a 'special edition' i wouldn't consider it to be comarable to an EB 5L.
