Posted: January 15th, 2012, 4:05 pmWell the car was sittig over 2 years then I bought it only yesterday and today I put new fresh oil in it then went for a spin gave it a boot then heard a massive ticking noice then looked to see what it was and I broke the front left of the timing case and there's a crack between the 2nd and 3rd bolt on the case and the 3rd bolt has been completely blown out

If it still runs I doubt it'd be the shaft. Pull it down is your only option.

Posted: January 26th, 2012, 4:30 pmMy brothers ed did the was thing. u could always hear chatter from the chain. U can see the grind marks on the chunk of timing cover that broke off
