au sump removal

hi ppls just the other day I bought a au series 3 for $100 and just finished rebuilding the front end anyway I went to do a oil change and a helicoil came out with the sump plug but 10mm of it was stuck put a new helicoil but it pushed the old bit in the sump how bad is I Gunna be to get the sump out is there any easier way then dropping out the k frame??
