XF 4.1 engine melting 1 spark plug lead, help please

As mentioned my old falcon engine is melting 1 plug lead. I have replaced that lead when I noticed it, but after 2 hours hot running, I notice it has done it again. This is happening on the boot going over the plug to the start of the lead. I have taken the plug out and compared it with the others, and all the plugs look identical, healthy. What are the chances of this happening twice and there not being an issue ?? Im not really sure what to do next. The lead isn't touching anything ie headers etc. Does anyone have any ideas whats happening and what i should do next ?
