Price check

Hey guys/girls I blew my clutch cable as I was heading home the other day , question I have is how much is it for a new cable round abouts?? And is it that hard to replace it myself ?

about $85-$100 roughly maybe less manybe more.
and yes pretty easy to do if you know what your doing.

Yeah thats the issue mate id only be guessing and yeah i was guessing and hoping it would be around the 100 and lower mark

When you change the cable change the U shaped clip at the pedal end and the cylindrical thingo with the hook on it at the throwout arm end. They will always go very soon after one another, so avoid getting stranded and replace them all regularly.

quite often it is this clip that break, not the cable.

clip is only from ford. is cheap.

isn't that hook thing that goes on the clutch yoke an XD part?

Nope, new cable every year or so is good policy, a cable is the same cost as a tow but if you get a tow you still have to buy a cable.
