There were only a few built though, not really sold to the general public.

Although I suppose you could include limited editions: Sapphires, Concordes, Sportsmans, Classics...

And then maybe utes: Longreaches, Tradesmans, Outbacks, GLS's

I know of the SS model. It was an XR6 derivative, I've seen an article about a red one (+ red interior, red rims...) that a racing enthusiast has, I think he might have supercharged it?

i thought I would get this thread fired up again.

Most people will know the answer to this but...

The EF has a different style of ECU plug from the EA,EB,ED and EL.

Why is this?

Memory test;

There was 10 of these built as 'production line' models and it was published in some literature (mostly mags etc) but you couldn't really buy one.
They were produced for Group N production car racing at the time, Holden also had a v6 SS - similar deal to the ford.
It was mostly suspension and driveline tweaks, different gearing and a bit more I6 grunt.

I have a camparo in one of my old mags, i'll do a scan next time i come across it.

- 10 points for off topic post... sorry

NL FBT's didn't have a GT motor in it, the GT's had GT40 heads while the FBT had the 98 Explorer motor with GT40Ps.

Gozza wrote:how many EB GT's were built and how many were made for export

I'll have a stab and say 278 in total, 250 for Aus, 20 for NZ and 8 for South Africa. I could be thinking of the EL though.

Bumping this up again, was a good thread. I remembered it while day dreaming about being on who wants to be a millionaire, and if I made it to the last question it would be 'what's the firing order of a 4L SOHC falcon' and i'd get it right and buy a lambo.

Anyways, what's the firing order of a our I6 engines?

Next person chooses a question...blah blah. If someone doesn't respond within 24 hours, someone else can put up a question (after 24 hours).
