Need help with Car Playlist...

Postby serial_fool » February 4th, 2008, 9:17 pm

Hello,

Im getting really farking bored with my current Playlists in the falcon. Can anyone suggest some music that is just good to cruise/ hoon to?

Looking for Rock/ Metal / Rap but something you can actaully hear the lyrics to and no over commericalised crap. Examples of crap is timberlake, timberland, black eye pea, etc..... anything pop really for me is a no-no.

I reckon anything by Timbaland, Justin Timberlake or the Black Eyed Peas... oh wait...

Nah, should go with the Australia Day compilation I made - i still have it in the player. Holy Grail, Khe Sahn, Run to Paradise, a whole lotta AC/DC, Working Class Man, etc. Classic bogan rock ftw.

Oh yes- the Bogan rock music compilation....but thats what Im sick of!

On a normal day I hear ACDC 4 times a day, I've also got a large selection of Motorhead, VelvetRevolver, Gunners etc.... pretty much all the classics.

Looking for some new music.

aha I have sooo much good shit to listen too, just tell me what kinda shit you want I find it for you.. Rock/Rap/Metal is too wide, I could give you about 5000 good songs...

anyways..
hoon songs: All the ladies on the Floor - The Outhere Brothers (Ultimate hoon song ever), me so horny - 2 live crew, 1-2-3-4
cruising: kryptonite - purple ribbon allstars, sittin sideways - paul wall
g up: up in here - DMX, crunk muzik - jim jones

as far as rock goes, there are sooo many good ones - olldies are led zepillin (kashmier, immigrant song), van halen - jump, ZZ top - legs etc etc, new ones i guess linkin park, papa roach, POD (boom is the best song..)

and then you've got the trance stuff, like sandstorm by darude, fire in the sky by hixxy, and smack my bitch up by prodigy which is the best song to race to IMO (be careful though: this song combined with pulsars with exhausts wanting to race caused a 6 month 1000$ fine)

I find commercial radio is great for getting psyched up. I drove to Melbourne & back today for a training course in a company car. Silly me left my CDs at home so I was stuck listening to four stations playing all the same shit. Listening to Britney, Sean Kingston, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, etc all the way there & back (5 hours of driving) made me want to 'rage kents at the lights, fark I hate top 40 shit (no, wait, "dirty 30" is the new street-talk apparently)

Oh, and I'm SICK of that "give her something special for Valentines: nasal spray technology!" advert! Makes me want to find the bitch who reads it & intentionally premature my manjam all over her face in a swift bout of angry sex (well, more of an "assault" than sex).

Radio sucks.
