ive done a bit of a search threw the site first and nothings giving me the info i want so...
i few ppl on here have mentioned bolt in rollcages for e-series which you can buy ready in the box just bolt it in, id like to know the company who do these cages and/or the place to buy them from.
looking at doing a half cage for the ED and was quoted 225 to get just the main hoop bent up then id have to but the pipes that run back to the rear strut towers and across for a seat belt mount on top plus some flat sheet to mount to so maybe around 400ish dollers all up.
but before i go nuts with all of that id like to know if i can buy a fairly cheap bolt in cage first to save myself the time and possibly dollar.
any info you got will be great guys.
cheers

If you knew someone with a mandrel/mandrake that you are friendly with you could get them to do it for you? I know that not everyone knows someone with access to these tools, but if you did it's a good start.
I am looking for a similar cage for my car for track days (so I can use harness rather than crappy lap/sash belt). I am going to be asking at a few places once I get work so I can actually get it when I find what I want.

rang brown davis automotive about getting the bit's
they can do me the main hoop, harness bar, and the 2 back pipes running back to the arches "no welding" for under 400 picked up.
may go with them but then the regulations are changing in 2013 so that you need to have a full 6 point with side bar's for cam's run events and thats only half a year away.
brown davis can supply me with all the bits for a 6 point for about 900 il just have to weld it in. but im not really keen on putting a full cage in my shell as the ED body wise is a bucket of crap.
wilson, scotty didnt you guys mentioned something about a mob that did bolt in's for e-seres??

hey pat for drifting you only need 4 point. if people organise their own drift days at calder they must use cams rules, but vicdrift use aasa rules which have no roll bar rules and take sections from the cams rules.
the new cams changes also mean the pipes just have to be thicker. get them to supply bolt in. i wish i went bolt in.
1k shell with a 3.5k roll cage stuck in it :S
it would save you alot of time if u got fb back and re joined the vicdrift club group lmao... all this is covered nearly every day by people asking over n over again
also try jdi fabrications or rassler engineering or fabraications (yes thats how its spelled)
