hi all, was just looking at a ba xr6 turbo today.. and its everything i want but there is one small problem

found some rust in the boot seam and theres a bit underneath the bootlid braces

is this a massive problem or would it still be worth buying for the right price?

I wouldn't buy that.

Boot rust is an NCO on BA-BF.. but it's normally confined to the underneath of the shelf in the inner corners and isn't normally worth writing home about.

Rust can be fixed though.

Offer him 2.5k less and get it fixed.

It can be fixed but you cannot prevent it appearing in other places, and if it's that severe already then chances are it will reappear very shortly

Same thoughts here. I would rather invest into something more lucrative.
