Useless poll #3: Favourite Falcon

Postby Bipolar » February 11th, 2008, 8:42 am

I've broken post E-Series up coz I figure a majority of members will vote at this end. I ended up backspacing over '(LOL)' after the AU option.

Ban! Such an AFF thread :P

Quiet Monday for you?

Edit: I've always wanted an XM sedan with either an original six (144, 170, 200) or somehow shoehorning a 3.9/4.0 & T5 in & having a little grandpa rocket. Same deal with an XT, although I'd also be happy with a stock 302W & just cruise around in it.

Id love an old school Falc (XM/XP) slammed with whitewalls and venetians and either a later model 5-0 of turbo six under the bonnet :)

Also love XE's especially DJ's GreensTuf one. Big flares, Big wheels and kermit paint and a 351 with no limiter ;)

Yep. This thread is farken way more fascinatating than any of the crap I have to do at the mo.

Personally I'd like an XB Hardtop or a Landau as my cruiser, a BF as a daily and my EL as my fun car.

Sif include XD, XE and XF in one group, XD's are leaf sprung plastic horse carts, and XF's are Ford's practice shot at the E-Series :P XE FTMFW, tho I'm biased, probably cos they're about the cheapest Falcons around now, and I've owned 3.

To be honest I find it hard to pick one or 2 models, I'd love one or 2 of EACH model, they all have things that make them great cars. XK-XP's are a rare sight on the road which gives them a unique-ness. XR-XY's won Bathurst repeatedly, showed everyone Australian 4 door cars could match it with the best in the world, and the legend of a tough XR-XY still strikes fear in the eyes of any Holden fan. Anyone who says no to the pure sex of an XA-XC hardtop should be shot, and most of us would have grown up with XD-XF's in some way.

If I could've I would've put every model seperate, including LWB models and the XP Hardtop, although I'm not sure that was built here.
