Wheel sizings

Postby DEZZY_D » August 20th, 2012, 4:39 pm

Just looking at buying some new wheels for my fairmont and came across some chrome 20x9's.

just wondering if i could put 20x9's on + put superlow king springs in and still be fine ?

thanks.

you'll need your gaurds rolled, or you will cut the tyres to pieces.

depends on quite a lot of factors.

quite possibly you'll need to run adapters, as they will probably be to suit AU onwards or similar.
tyre size matters, 245/30/20 would be ideal.
225/35/20 *can* fit, but looks a bit weird.

anything bigger starts to question clearance to suspension.

guard clearance will be hit or miss, i'd consider getting the guards rolled.

I have got the guards rolled already so im prepared for that.

So i suppose its all about the tyres that go onto them now.. alright adapters seem the ideal thing to do but they don't come at a cheap cost.

thanks heaps for the help guys i appreciate it.
