my son is 21 and also rides, i worry about him every time he gets on a bike.
having said that, i ride too and it wouldnt be a total tragedy for anyone to die pursuing life to the fullest.
death is permanent and very very sad for those left behind but there are worse things like being immobilized in a body that can't communicate and unable to do anything at all.
i feel for this fella and his family, i lost my dad only 5 weeks ago, but in the end death stalks us all and every day is a blessing for everyone so let this death remind you to enjoy every day, do what pleases your heart and be yourself.
time is fleeting.
