Cheap eBay rotors?

I'm looking at buying a set of slotted rotors between $100 - $200 off eBay, just wondering if anyone has heard any stories about them or has used them and what they are like?

Reason I'm thinking of buying new is because I've been quoted $120 to get my original rotors machined

My rotors on el v8 were eBay ones an they've been on for ages. They get used a bit and they still pull up as great as the day I got them

Slotted and x drilled. Make sure to paint them as the rust though

Cheers

Not sure if its worth the extra $$ for the cross drilled rotors, and the cheaper ones look nicer but I guess they could be different once they turn up as well..

Wait, $120 for machining?
I assume thats for drug money or something.

I got my last set done for free!!

Anyway, have you priced new rotor's from DBA?

I've bought 2 sets of DBA slotted off ebay with no issues. I'd stick to the brand name personally but that could be loyalty more than anything else.

Yeah I walked in expecting under $50... Dad got his done probably 10 years ago now though for $40.

I've just ordered the first set, sounds like they will be fine.

Dba's were $450, a little bit too high for me especially when these brakes haven't let me down yet.

It's more they have to re pack bearings and torque up etc unless the have an on car machiner.
To do EF rotors takes an hour longer then say a ba

Early model DBA Gold did have cracking problems, but these were later fixed. I've even got them on the Crown Vic.

Glad to hear the cheaper ones are OK too.
