bought a BA XT the other day first new car ive ever bought and a week later on a real shit road in the pissing down rain i managed to get all crossed up and kissed a gaurdrail which was my first crash couldnt have been in any other hundred odd shitters ive owned. had plans for body kit and xr8 front but didnt think i would have to do it so quickly o well.

woops.

but already got the plans underway for the kit and stuff this is wat im getting with the bonnet and xr headlights etc

Ouch, is it all panels and cosmetic damage or does something need to be straightened under the skin?... so to speak!

yer apron was pushed back but not creased the old man is a spray painter panel beater so tht part is fixed already just cosmetics left

That's good to hear. What's it going to cost to do what you have in mind? It sounds expensive, but maybe that is where your Dad comes in too I guess.

yer was lookin 4500 through a mob up here and yer didnt evan wanna think wat ford would charge but apparently my mate was lookin for a gt kit for his BA xr6 and they wouldnt sell him one with out a gt vin number apparently they dont want any mock ups

Do the world a favour and DO NOT put a wing on it!!!!

All the other stuff should be sweet though

You think it looks phat - wait till you see one without a wing - it's 11tybillion times phatter.

Same goes for HSVs - sometimes I have to take them off at work to get them repainted or something, instantly makes the car look about 2 inches closer to the deck.

my mate has a stock silver XT with 20" chromies it looks alright no kit or spioler just clear tail lights and rims

NO wing FTW.. Unless its a DJR lip spoiler..

na got to have the wing i reackon not goin for the drift look IMO. With out the wing it would look like i only had on half a body kit it just finishes it all off.

I reckon buy the headlights and kit first without the wing and bonnet and see if you like having Force 6 stylez. Then once you've seen it in the flesh, if you still think it needs a wing, get it, and at least you haven't spent any extra and you can say you tried it and didn't like it.

yer ide prefer the xr8 over xr6 ive seen i few XTs with the force 6 style front and dont realy like it. i know the look im after and will be to much stuffin round if i kit it up and paint it with out the wing then want the wing after wards

i rekon keep the lights and get a xt version of the xr bumper,
this kit here is good imo.

I've seen that Barge car in the flesh, it looks really good - much better than the pics suggest.

thats look great, although it could have said SALEEN instead of COBRA.

there is a BA/BF GT getting around brisbane that has a Hawk style rear wing like on the AUs
it doenst look too bad.. bit ricer tho as its a much bigger wing than the GT item

its not somthin i jumped into i have been lookin at kits since b4 i evan got the car and IMO that one is the best, ive seen all differnt custom jobs etc but still think that one is crash hot
