ok so while not totally car related its just a way to vent some anger i have at the moment. first my dog was put down yesterday, now 2 days before me and my parents go to adelaide for the clipsal 500 the queensland weather helps to destroy part of our roof, which had it happened 5 minutes earlier the tile that came off would have gone straight through the windscreen of my EL.

you QLD guys are copping some great weather at the moment :/

fark... was the shade thingy attached to the roof? the weather forecast is for strong winds, and rain over the next few days. I hope you get the roof fixed and get to go away to adelaide. i would love to go there, but no, i'm off to see ping pong shows...

yeh the corner that has come out was bolted into the roof.. unfortunately it looks like it wasnt strong enough, luckily theres guys coming round at 3 to fix it which is bloody quick seeing as it happened at like 1. ah well goin to adelaide and abusing holden fans always makes everything better

Sucks about the roof, but try being in Mackay atm. I haven't seen the sun in over a week and a half :S.

iv got friends livin in makay atm and theyve been using their tinny in the flood waters... silly **** haha, is it still realy bad up there atm?

That was close. Was there much damage to the house apart from the roof, any water damage?

nah no further damage, luckily we got guys out who were able to temporarily fix it, they finished about 5 mins before it started pissing down with rain, they are coming back tomorrow to fix it properly so its all good.. just annoying that when something goes wrong other stuff soon follows

Nah, its pretty much all gone down, just a bit left lying around in water holes. Some streets smell pretty horrid from rotting litter, overflowed sewage etc, but that may just be the class of people living in them.
