au interior lights

I have a 2002 au series 111 fairmont and the interior lights will not turn off. i have removed the fuse to stop my battery going flat. any ideas what to do to fix the problem?

Stupid question, but have you turned them off at the switch to the left of the headlight switch..?

Also try testing the door switches of each door separately.
