Hi I own a 1988 EA Fairmont Ghia 3.9L MPFI sedan auto that I am having a problem with it.
It doesn't happen when engine is cold but when its hot the revs in 1/2/D/R go up and down between 0 and 600revs and some times the engine stalls on me.
In the last 6 months I had to put new Bosch intank fuel pump relay, new Bosch CPU relay, new Gooss intank fuel pump, new Ryco fuel filter, new NGK spark plugs, new throttle positioning sensor.
It lacks power when you take of. I have been told it is a air hose leak or a sensor such as temp sensor. I think its the ideal sensor not working properly or a electrical fault to the wiring to the sensor.
Can you explain in detail if you know what is wrong with my car. :drinks2: :drinks2:

Idle Speed Contoller (ISC), Distributor or TFI module? Do a fault test on it. Someone may have an online link to the instructions and codes. Could be any number of things.
