Question for anyone who knows... re: E Series Steel Wheels

Postby V8DER » June 17th, 2013, 3:33 pm

Hello all...
I was wondering if Ford ever made a 15x7 steel wheel for the E series Falcons(equivalent to the Commodore 'Interceptor' rims)?
And if so, where would I be able to purchase a new set of these steelies?

The ones I've found at the wreckers are 15x6.5 stockies... I was wondering if the E series had the 15x7 Cop Steelies that Holden had.

Nope. They come in 15x6.5, 16x6.5 and 17x7.5 only. You can obviously get them widened.

I would of said they are 15x6. Au are. Measured to inside of the lip. I widened some to 15x8.

Well, I've ditched the whole steel wheel idea.. too much pfaffin' about to get the width I wanted in the back.

Got me a set of AMG Quake 17x8s for $360, secondhand and in decent nick. :D

I figure 235/45s on the front, and 255s in the back if they'll fit.

Will post some pics, once I get the tyres on my next days off.
