Issue with territory

Postby Robertsbrock » June 23rd, 2013, 2:23 pm

Hey there guys and girls i know this vehicle isnt a e series but i thought someone here might no how to my issue is to be fixed .
Up till last week the high beams in my territory worked fine and then the other night everytime i went to use it not only did they not come on all the lights died in the ass and went out. So i thought it might of been a fuse issue and just checked all those and there 100% fine so im now guessing my high's globes might be stuffed. If anyone knows what might be the issue or if im right with the globe issue some help would be good thanks everyone.

The combination switch is quite common to stuff up. Check hi beam globes (h3) to make sure their not blown.

I've done a couple of them. One a few weeks ago

Yep! You know your sh!t SnipeZ! :good:

Done dozens & dozens of combination switches on Falcon/Territorys, its a daily thing at a Ford dealer. Also check your fuses & relays aswell.

Easiest way to check the combo switch is to pop the upper steering column off and you can see the thin coloured wires going into the RH stalk of the combo switch. You will either see one or more broken, or you may have to get a small flatblade screwdriver and just gently put the tip behind each wire and pull gently to see if any wires break away. You can either replace the combo switch or you can remove it and just solder some new lengths of wires where the breaks are.
