Ok guys I have a eb 4l with a t5 manual and I want to put the manual in an auto el which is an ex cop car, just wondering if the pedal box and everything else will fit in the el, also the ecu just has to be tricked to work, to start and idle fine and also thermo fans to work?

Pedal box won't work as the eb one has the provision for the hand brake. Also different brake light switch.
Ecu should run a j3 instead of tricking it. Makes it run better.
Buy a pedal pin and a j3 and you'll be fine. Also gear boots are obviously different.
Cheers

I modified an EB/ED pedal box to suit EF/EL.
Involved some cutting (removing hand brake mount) and a little bit of welding (adding mount for main power plugs).
I preferred to do it this way rather than use a pedal pin as I was able to use the factory clutch switch from the donor car.

All I do is buy a 16×75mm bolt two nuts and three washers theres the pedal sorted for 5$ and 5 minutes.

So should i just sell me eb manual and buy a conversion kit for an el, because would an el auto box and brake pedal fit in a eb?
