Apparently he wasnt even driving - his financial advisor was.

Ah the Porsche, natural selections response to yuppies... No way would I get into a 600hp mid engine rear drive sports car with some **** whoze last 10 rides were all 100hp shitboxes.

The bloke driving was Roger Rodas Ex racecar driver.

Bloody shame.

F&F just won't be the same.

Yeah the driver was an ex Race Car driver and long time friend and business partner of Walker's. I thought it was prob some noob yuppy trying to show off as well.

Damn shame.

Must have been moving. The car was destroyed. Probably lost traction and pop.

Just sucks that it happened like that.
It should serve as a message to anyone who thinks they're good enough behind the wheel.
Even a veteran race car driver, a moment of stupidity will stay with their families for a lifetime.
Don't let it happen to you.

Was a brilliant actor and some nice eye candy for everyone. Will be missed by many.

Cheers

Going by how mangled the carrera was they must have least been unconscious. Would be a bloody horrible way to go otherwise.

Dylan, The Porsche was a Carerra GT, which according to Wikipedia they stopped producing in 2007, so that'd have to be false.

You're right that it's a bloody shame though. RIP to both of them.

In all seriousness RIP to Paul Walker and the driver, and condolences to their families & loved ones, but I'm amazed at the extensive and ongoing news coverage for this compared to other current tragic events of much greater scale to humanity and/or the environment.

Media will run with anything that will get them sales and ratings.
Celebrities > everything else.

It's total bull shit what gets put on for news and people trying to Make money by filming shit and taking photos.
