i have an ed gli that i have been trying to remove the smartlock on. I have traced all the wires from the s/l module & removed them from the harness & looped the red/blue trace back on itself to complete the start circuit. I have also aquired an eb 1 auto non s/l ecu. Has anyone on here done this before? I have done a search here but cant find anything on removing the syatem entirely. My main question really is does anyone know these things well enough to definitavely say "yes you have done it right & it will work ok" or "no you need to join these wires/ add 12v here etc.."Please help as i need to get my car going asap.
