how to wire ABS sensor for speedo signal

I have an AU with a T56i have setup ABS sensor on left front just wondering where best place to connect the two wires tried using VSS connection but can't seem to pick up signal or does it need to be amped up if so how do you do it also some have said use 2 jaycar correctors how do you set them inline or parallel
