I'm not to sure on the comparitive strengths and weaknesses/modability of RB20 VS SR20, but I think maybe a worked SR would be the way to go, rather than doing anything with the RB?

The RB is heaps better, there are a fair few people putting them into S13's nowdays. They're cheaper, more reliable, and easier to find in wreckers. They weigh under 50kg more than an SR20 as well.
