Postby Simple6 » March 21st, 2008, 12:15 pm

Hey Guys,

There's just been a forum started up specifically based for those who own (or want!) a Ford Fairmont....from all ages!

The idea is to talk, ask questions & help out anybody whos need to fix, modify or restore a Fairmont!

There are rooms specifically for all X-Series, E-Series, A-Series, & B-Series Fairmonts

Come join....we're looking for some founding members to start us off!

I own a fairmont and really don't see the need to go anywhere else other than here and fordmods.

A specific fairmont forum sounds pretty retarded imo.
Daily: EB II Fairmont, legal low. Next stereo or turbo.

Yeah I know its fairly specific site and I know its hard to get members, but I more intended for it to compliment this forum and Fordmods rather than try and drag members away.

If it works - fantastic
If it doesnt - nothing lost!

Well good luck with your new forum, I think your topic scope will be rather limited though.

You realise there is no such thing as an FG Fairmont? That forum was becoming too hard to sign up to, so I gave up.

no offence again. but from past experiences. a forum or website that people are told about BEFORE it is working right and looking good rarely survives.

Ah yes the FG Fairmont.....literally 1/2hr ago it was running through my head about how they killed the Fairmont name for the FG and then of course I realised I'd created a room for it

Ah well like I said before...if it works great! but from the feedback so far I doubt it! ;)

Ever since its inception, the Fairmont nameplate has just been a Trim/ equipment spec for the Falcon.
Now Lead tester/cheap labour for the South East divison of Hillbilly Performance Vehicles. PM me for a set of 2nd hand leads, dirty air filters and other assorted hick automotive needs.

Yeah, sorry but there's no real need for it at the moment. Fairmont (and Fairmont Ghias) aren't *that* different from Falcons. Perhaps if you focused on making it an information resource (as opposed to discussion forum) about Fairmont equipment and upgrades or something you'd get a better reception.
