LOL @ Eb3.

Nothing to resale, Cobra never meant shit.
It's a tainted name that belongs on stickered up specials that are an attempt to move the remnants of a model before they move onto something new.
Just like XC, just like BF.
Sprint definately didn't deserve that, thank fck it never got it.

I do agree and it's left the Sprint as a stand alone unique model - however the XC's are no longer laughing stock, those sticker pack specials are worth serious dollars now

But the XC Cobras performance was/is laughable. Somehow they took a good engine at the start of the 70's and made it shit from Emmisions reduction at the end.

Only because theres this ridiculous follow on thing from GTHOs.
People are constantly trying to pick the "next GTHO".
It's artificially driving prices up on cars that should probably be destined for scrap yards LOL
Look at idiots trying to get 100k+ for BF Cobras?

I agree, calling the sprint a cobra would have been pretty homo.

The Sprint is what it is, a poor mans GT (i prefer the look of the Sprint to the EB GT) and while the prices might not skyrocket it will at least hold its value.

But more importantly its a pretty awsome car.

I reckon the Sprint has more in common with the older GTs anyway.
Lighter than luxury V8s, check- More power than luxury V8s, check- fastest Ford of the era down 1/4 mile, check.

EB and EL GTs were pretty much upgraded Fairmont Ghias.
