i did turn my lights off, but i also was playing Xbox while downloading shit on the PS3 plus i had suround sounds going, so i dont think it did much...

Didnt turn them off. Mainly because all of the ones that are usually on are those energy saver ones.

I should get a dynamo (look it up) installed on my faptop, that's all I need... and an internet connection and a wireless router and just one light to see what I'm doing and a car to get to and from work and... oh crap there goes my plans to be environmentally friendly.

Yeah my parents did it, i came home at 8.30 to get drinks to go out and every room i went in and turned the light on in my mum was right behind me turning them off took me a few mins to catch onto why she was doing it

Didnt turn mine off. Wonder if they thought about fluroescent globes.. They power required to start them up is enough to run them for 24hrs. Do more damage to the environment turning them off then back on again...
