Got one off e-bay from a dude in WA. Installed it expecting wonders, but was not to be. All it did for me was to change the gears quicker (auto trans) I actually thought it would make my car quicker, but obviously not quick enough and expecting wheel to "spin in 2nd". But only if it was wet!
Auto trans got stuff within a year of installing it, coincedence or not? not sure. Put in new seconds tranny and that got stuffed too, if I had the shift kick off it slipped big time but if it was on it worked fine.
Still have it but not really game to use it now that I have a EL tranny that works FINE AS IT IS! 8-)

I'd be interested in other responses too.

WTF? You expected a mod that increases your transmission line pressure to make your car go faster? The purpose to the shift kit is do speed up/harshen up gearchanges, for chirpage or to reduce friction while the gears are changing (if you're running a lot of power)

I made one for my car. It works good. Do a search on fordmods.com and there is a diagram there of how to do it for EF's. It literally costs about 10bux in parts from somewhere like Jaycar.
