im looking at selling my EF XR6 Turbo very soon, and i need to know if my prices are fair.
it has turbo certificates :)

$17k ono (on 18" XHP boosts)
$16k ono (on FTRs)

are these ok? specs and details below

1/4 time and dyno are unvailable at the current moment
1/4 time -- when i last took it to the drags, i had a boost leak - fixed, so i havent got a proper time yet
dyno -- new exhaust is on, so im booking a tune asap. dyno readout then :)

the car has done 225,XXX km
body condition = good. apart from that little pesky tiny dent on drivers door.. hard to see
paint - relatively ok, clear is start to go in sections, so im getting that fixed before sale, with a custom front bumper thats just been resprayed

stock ones are worth 6-8K (if autotrader tells me correct) so i'd think that 16-17k would be a fair price for a car with the work yours has done to it. good luck when you decide to sell it. :)

I'm thinkin 13-14, even though you've spent a shitload of money on it.

I would look for a cheap BA xr6t for the price....
I think if you are going to spend that much money on a car you should build it for yourself, and keep it (unless someone makes a good offer on it!)

thanks guys. yeh my reserve is around 14k. so thats alright in my eyes.

in WA the car prices are still about 15% higher than over east, so the BA XR6T's are still 23k and higher, so i might be able to slip into 1Xk bracket quite nicely with the sale.

jake, i know what you mean, but ive just purchased a FG XR8 so the EF is getting sold to help fund it :)

Yea its like you spend $1000 on your car its onyl worth like an extra 100 when you sell it

It also all depends on how quick your willing tos ell it

Quick sale, knock a few K off it, but if its on the market for like 6-12 months then you'd get what your looking for

If it was over here in Vic where BA XR6T's are cheap as chips now, I'd say you could maybe get 11-12k for it. Sorry to sound harsh but stock XR6's aren't worth that much and the engineering certificates aren't worth a grain of salt over here. You'd have to sell it without a roadworthy certificate. However, you aren't in Vic and you said prices are higher over there so maybe you could get 14k for it. I honestly think 16-17k is a bit high though.
