wat should i spend my money on

im not sure wat to do.
i wana do some engine mods but not sure wat i should do, im thinkin of putin an el engine in but not sure if i could do beta with the money i have to spend.
my headgasket is weepin so im gona have to do that at 1 point so thats y i thought engine transplant (that and i have 230,XXXkm on the clock)
so if i was to do head gasket, cam, extractors, wat sorta money would i be lookin at?
i no i colud get an el engine with jus ova 100,000 kms on it 4 bout $600 so thats prob my limit, or there bouts.

any help would be appreciated.

Buy as many lottery tickets as you can.
Now Lead tester/cheap labour for the South East divison of Hillbilly Performance Vehicles. PM me for a set of 2nd hand leads, dirty air filters and other assorted hick automotive needs.

if ya gana put in an el engine ya might as well go au. less head gasket issues then for future. i just finished mine. was well worth it.
only paid $450 for the motor from allwest wreckers (trade price)
plus front end shit was maby 200 or so. i got new radiator n shit on top of that.
goes good.

is there much that i would have to do to swap them (in ways of dizzy-coil)

Mate, 230,000k is nothing for one of these engines.

Get the headgasket fixed and maybe look at doing extractors and cam later on down the track.

wat sorta price would i be looking at 4 big cam and extractors?

get yourself a regrind cam from wade for $200 then you can get second hand extractors for about $150..
Headgasket may be around $50 or so and a couple of hours fckin around getting it in...

oh i no wats involved in doin headgasket (done a couple) just havnt got a price and thought some1 would no on here

regrind cam? wats this?
is it a reground cam or do they regrind mine?

where would i get second hand extractors from?

When Pete/phatel did the headgasket on the EA, think it cost a couple hundred bucks. Thats doing the work yourself and buying a kit to do it.
