When I worked for Chrysler, I had quite a few drive cars, we didnt have a set car, just took whatever hadn't been driven for a while.

Grand Cherokee Hemi's are fun, 300C's are nice too, but not very sporty. Crossfires are cool too.

Worst thing I had was an early PT Cruiser.. driveline vibrations like a massage chair, they drink fuel at the rate of ~14L/100km

I don't have a company car per say... I have a car that I get to drive to and from work in so that it doesn't have to be locked away at work. It's not even really a car. Daewoo Matiz anyone?

Kias are fast! (according to stalker)

At my old job I had to deliveries/pickups occasionally.

We had:
- bombed out old Charade (only used it when the highway wasn't needed... felt like it was maxing out at 70km/h)
- manual Echo with the rear seats pulled out (every gear change was 5k+ RPM when I had it :P)
- couple of oldish Hiaces with sloppy as **** gearboxes
- a new Hiace

Probably the funniest moment in those cars was when me and another guy had to drive to Ballarat with the back of the new Hiace full of boxes. He took a shortcut to the Midland Hwy, which involved gravel roads, huge potholes etc. Anyway at one point the gravel road we were on crosses an asphalt road, our road had a Stop sign at the intersection. He just slowed down a bit while approaching, looked left and right for traffic (could see the other road clearly in both directions for a few hundred metres), then fanged it. Where the gravel met ashphalt there was a slight rise, so the Hiace jumped (at least it felt like it was airborne), so did the boxes, then the Hiace came back down and half a second later the boxes did too. Hiace took it like a champ :D

LOL, work vans cop it the most. If it's raining on the freeway, I pull the handbrake at 110km/h and see how long I can keep it in a relatively straight line for, or at least within my lane. Freaks other cars out a little though, so I try not to do it in heavy traffic too much. If it's dry 80km/h handbrake entries into the bosses driveway have been known to occur. Sooooo close to tipping on it side every time.

EDIT: oh, and we used to jump speed bumps, at around 80kmh with one hand out the window each screaming YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAWWWWWWW!!!!!!! cowboy styles. After a while the ladder racks tore out of the roof of the van and well, it was fucked after that.

BA XLS Ute
Comfy as to drive around, plus its got some form of hardened suspension so its no to bad to give a squit thru the hills, no where near as much body roll as a stocker.
Also have a fuel card to go with it, handy when ya own part of the company and your dad is the boss :D

'04 Ford Courier, which i'm starting to hate.
Nothing particularly bad about it but then there's nothing particularly good about it either.
Hoping to get something new next financial year.

When I used to work at SLC in Ballarat, we had 2 vans that we used to cart shit around.

The old van (Mazda something), was a fucking warrior. Had done like 300,00k's or something, rust all over it, windows wouldn't go up, had to kick the back door in a certain spot to get it to open, could start it with almost anything, serviced probably twice by the boss (who knows a little bit about cars), and all of us flogged the living fvck out of that thing. Redlined every gear change, hand brakies, clutch dumps, etc.

My favourite phase was when I decided to learn how to change gears without the clutch. Drove from one side of town to the other without clutching. Grouse fun.

Fvck that thing copped it. :D

No company car but we get to cain the **** out of work cars. Foresters are the best for reefing the hand brake while flying over speed humps. The bright yellow '84 Sherpa is awesome. Well was, it's sort of got more blowby than exhaust pressure these days. Best thing is it's so small it fits through those poles they put up to stop you driving in parks.

You'd think the giant Subaru stickers down the side would stop us acting like idiots in it. Nup.

You just described almost perfectly, my Kia Pregio. Sad thing is, the Kia only has 63,000km on it, and is still under warranty. It's fair fucked. Just two days ago, the rear door jammed shut, and the side one came off it's hinges and jammed shut too, so we had to use a crowbar to get in to our work gear. Poor heap.

yes i have seen many stuffed Pregio's. They rust while under warranty and shit like that. We had two of the new Mercedes Vito's at my old work. i actually really liked them apart from the lack of legroom. Who's game to post skid pics :)
