It has been about a week since i crashed my car and i have been working endlesly to get her fixed. before i started the damage was as follows

seized up diff
minor panel damage to the front left hand quarter panel
minor damage to the front left rim
back left rim compleatly totaled
rear suspension
rear shocks
whatts linkidge and components
rear left hand brake disc rotor slightly scratched
rear left break pads stuffed
slight buckle on the panel behind left hand rear passanger door from rim hitting the roof of the wheel well pushing it out.
front bumper of the bodykit heavilly scraped but slightly damaged. nothing some new paint and fiberglass repair kit wont fix

thankefully through all this the steering copped quite a beating but did not get damaged in anyway. might need a wheel alignment though:P

anywayz over the last 2 days the old diff came out of the car and i prepared the new (reconditioned) diff to go in, damn diff fluid all over the driveway :D but thats what you get from a D.I.Y job and not being prepared. i have looked into getting some replacement rims but apparently ROH doesnt make the envy wheels in 17" anymore. i did all of this by hand then found out that supercheap had a set of airtools for $189, wish i knew that.

anywayz, tomorrows roster will be finishing assembling the diff and putting the brake rotors back in and putting the shocks and springs in. should be fun

well the diff is back in the car and i had her driving around the block today, except for the fact that i didnt put the shocks in properly and they were pretty much useless. so the car felt like it had hydraulics in it but anywhoze. she is now down at the workshop getting new shocks, wheel alignment, weight bearing and getting the brakes checked. so i will have my car back tomorrow evening :D all up the cost was minimal

reconditioned diff: $270
4 ford falcon ghia rims: $250
misc parts, bolts ect: $550
TOTAL: $1070

not bad considering the smash repairers were going to charge me $6000
