One for u kiddys to do at home.

Postby Frost » May 24th, 2008, 3:53 pm

I was out at one of the guys who works at snort performance last night for a mates 21st. several skids in the driveway and alcohol ended up with this party trick that i stumbled across.

Got a bon fire, want a good party trick. I take no liability for this as I almost got arrested for it last night.

Needed:
1 condom
1 empty beer bottle
1 tank of acetylene

Get a condom, you regular ansell/durex

Fill with acetylene

Tie knot in it and then tie it to a beer bottle

Clear people away from the fire

Throw it in that direction

Wait for the massive bang.

This happened several times at this party, me and another guy were the only sobar ones, so when Defence fireys and 5 firebrigades and police cars turned up we almost got arrested.

It was herd over 15km away and shook windows. It was pritty cool.

Which brings me to another question.

Can you be arrested for being sobar in public?

lol I somehow think that if I was sober at the time, I wouldn't have endorsed that kind of thing at a party.

Why tie it to a beer bottle?

Anyway I can safely say I won't be trying that.

so it doesnt float away or the wrong way when getting it to explode.

The backyard we did it in, is surrounded by tenix's tank making base, and about 2km from the artiliary range.

Try a garbage bag next time..... We made a fused one years ago and ran about 300 metres away.
It still scared the shite out of everyone, more so because we didnt know when it was going to go off as we couldnt see it. If there were windows and stuff about i could safley say they would have been shattered. It set off car alarms 300m away and shook everything. I wont be doing it again!

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Nah still got it lol, I completely blew out one of the joints, the tip of my thumb only moves a little bit.

The inside of my thumb is permanently numb for life, and few other battle wounds as well.

1 week after the operation...

Good question lol.

But I did manage to leave a small crater in the ground lol.

My pants and t-shirt were torn to shreds, I had to throw the pants out, still got the t-shirt though lol.

Fck ned, thats crazy sht.
Lucky you didn't lose the thumb completely.

I think I'm over my blowing sht up phase, so I'll leave the connys filled with acetylene to you frost.

I remember as a kid a party near my house taht my older cousins were at, I got woken up by massive bangs and the windows shaking.
Let's just say next time they wanted to have a BBQ, they had to buy new gas bottles.

haha im a apprentice plumber and iv seen what acetylene can do... let alone if it mixed correctly with oxygen!!

at trade school last year a few of the boys in my class had an epic fail... they filled a empty oil drum (just a small 10 litre 1) with the perfect oxy/accet mix... then they lit it up with a pice of rope soaked in primer.. the explosion was fucking incredible!!!! they did it in the work shop and it wiped out the power to the whole campus!!!! shattered **** knows how many fluro lights and left a few of them temporarily deaf..... not 2 mention that there were were 3 fire trucks, 6 ambos and who knows how many cops arrive... haha im glad i wasnt part of it because theyl be paying off the repair bill for a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time!!

haha that story will never be forgotten in the plumbing department of our tafe
