HAHAHA

got a cannarie tonight,

was doing 109 in a 90 zone on way home from a mates place leaving drouin heading to the free way on ramp.

out of all the things wrong with my car he picked:

Exhaust - not long enough, needs to extend 60mm past the rear bar.
Passanger side indicato - to be repaired. (i think he means repeaters, i took them off for the sanding job on my car)
Front Bar - to be secured. (its bit loose at the moment one of the nuts broke out)
Passanger head light - to be secured ??? didnt know it was loose
Air filter - to comply with adrs (i have a spare air box in the shed, running a pod at the moment)
External gauges - to be non reflective (not sure what that means, mabye cause there chrome cups? any ideas?)
passanger side rear brake light - repaires/replace (allways breaks, blows like a week after i change it)

he didnt pick wheels, b and m shifter, monster tacho, paint and bog, seats, my gt wing dosent have a brake light in it, noise pollution.

my noot has no carpet and wires n shit, real messy at the moment. so many more things he could of snagged me for.

all in all i really dont care i can get roadies practicly over the phone but i have to present the car at vic roads wich is going to be difficult, my mechanic dosent like doing roadies on cars that have to go to vic roads.

Geren enough with the stupid pics already.

Jimmy I'm guessing you got a speeding fine as well ? Pull the gauges off and fix all the other shit. Also wouldn't be surprised if you get a letter from the EPA, sneaky pig might want you to think you got off lightly.. then BAM!!! surprise cock fag!

Or perhaps he was a bogan and liked your car. lol

Yeah gauges can't be chrome.
I always thought any external gauges were illegal, but i checked it out the other night.
As long as they don't impede vision like 11 metres in front of the car, and they are non reflective, they are legal.
Oh, if they light up they also can't be brighter then the dash lights.

haha yeah, im not to stressed, had that car 1 year now its cannarie matierial! that car was never close to roadworthy from the day i had it haha

i have had 5 canaries now, this is first one i have had to present the vehicle tho. normally its just a roadie wich i can get over the phone and take down there.

ahhwell, i think its a sign to move on from that car.

going to wreck it out i have decided, to get a full roadie on that car will cost a fortune that i dont have right now, and its due for reg next week aswell, and im going to loose my license for 6 months now becuase i only had 1 point when i got fined last night.

i think its all a sign to pull that motor and box out and drop it into some i love like a xd/xe or more likely a clean tidy standard looking eb/ed.

he offerd it to me for 700, rolling shell. complete body, with boot lip, diff and stockies. no interior or wheels or motor n box.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... TQ:AU:1123

my motor would go nice in that i reken. and he can deliver it to me.

Damn... well, just one question, how the fark did you not spot the cop before the Drouin exit? There's like nothing out there...

Exhaust - not long enough, needs to extend 60mm past the rear bar.

Passanger side indicato - to be repaired. (i think he means repeaters, i took them off for the sanding job on my car)

^^^ buy a cheapo tip?

Front Bar - to be secured. (its bit loose at the moment one of the nuts broke out)

^^^ meh, bolt it on ;) That's what I did to mine.

Passanger head light - to be secured ??? didnt know it was loose

^^^ easy fix

Air filter - to comply with adrs (i have a spare air box in the shed, running a pod at the moment)

^^^ easy fix

External gauges - to be non reflective (not sure what that means, mabye cause there chrome cups? any ideas?)

^^^ as per Steady's post

passanger side rear brake light - repaires/replace (allways breaks, blows like a week after i change it)

^^^ replace it in the VicRoads carpark :P

Coppers aren't mechanics, they're coppers, so things get missed.

Put enough on the defect notice and then you have to get a roadworthy and surprise, surprise, EBGT302 is getting rid of his car.

Coppers don't do roadies, I don't know where people (especially young people) get this from. It is a safety inspection. Just need to make sure the car is safe. It is up to the mechanic to make it roadworthy.

As for DandyNights.....meh. Laughing at the dumb coppers for thinking they were your spare tyres.

[sarcasm]Yes, the policeman thought they really were your spare tyres.[/sarcasm]

They let you off out of pity. Let's see, bus lane, red light and unsafe vehicle (not unroadworthy). They probably thought you were on your way to the spastic society.

as steady said, external gauges cant block your vision 11meters in front of your car from the drivers seat, the cups they sit in also have to be either the same colour as the car or duller, ie matt black,

your exhuast sounds like a joke, because as long as the exhaust dumps past the rear windows it is fine, vicroads rules states, that it has to pass openable windows, ie sedan past back doors, ute right behind cab,

pod filters are legal, they some under the the same rule as intercoolers, you can have one intake "mod" so on NA cars pods are alloud as long as the are secure, or if you run a intercooler by "law" you have to have a air box to complie with vic roads.

passenger side rear brake light, seems you have a earth / shorting out problem, in the tail light wiring, easy fix,

bnm shifter is legal, it is just a aftermarket shifter.

monster tacho's or any internal gauges are alloud in the vehicle as long as they highest point of the gauge is lower than the highest point of the dash,

i think it will be to much work. my mechanic did a roadie on it for me last time it went to vic roads

so he might do it again if i change some stuff.

well the id on the eb will need to be roadworthy for me to put in on the ea

i cant put eb id on the ea that is under a defect notice. well i can but its harder to remove

na i dont think i will, i want to strip that green thing so over it, needs to much work to make legit roady material.

relax im definetly buying your car !

What a pile of shit...

Lets use sunny for example your trying to say they took mr dose of the road becouse it was unsafe??

99% of cops have no idea what they are doing with cars they just follow a bullshit rulebook.
