cheap turbo setup

hey, im not new to this site but ive been reading it,

i have a stock falcon and im looking to give it some power.
im still on my Ps and i earn $250 a week with my current job.
all my mates drive VR commodores with 3" exhausts, pod filters, painted interiors and 12" subs strapped into the boots

ive been looking at turbo setups.
would a skyline turbo work? or even a supercharger of one of those toyotas?

my mate sourced me a really cheap turbo manifold of a SR20DET, how hard would it be to put this on my falcon?

my budget to do up my car is $2500, im looking for 300kw +++++

whats the best place to look for forged internals?
do repco sell them?

btw, i was thinking of going to BPT (in Perth) for my tune, they seem to know A LOT about aftermarket tuning

Thanks in advance, :)

PS: i really want to smoke up those new VE GTS's ... they wouldnt suspect a EF falcon to have 300rwkw

PPS: ive heard engineering is easy and that you just need a mechanic to sign some paper certificates. is this true?

Try http://www.pertheseries.com and play the arcade games. I'll give you $50 if you beat my score in mini pool.

LOLZ.

Maybe you should just get an FG XR8 or something bro.
Although it won't dose, could be a problem... ;)

thats good to hear Kaddis, but what do you mean hard way? is there an even easier method? like forms and such?

snap neck, ive never had a turbo ef, ive always wanted one to beat skylines and rice cars like lancers and that shit

S the M, a FG XR8 would be awesome, dont tempt me, ill go to the bank and get out a big loan. haha
actually, maybe i could get out a loan for this turbo setup. thats a smart idea since once its installed i wont have any issues with it :)

and dose, thats a little poser-spec dont you reckon. whats next? locked diff or lokkas or some shit?

200 rwk is do able with 2500

but not really 300

look at a turbo kit, bolt it on run 6-8 psi on stock motor and dont thrash it to much

as a p plater you would be better investing 2500 into a bit of stereo, wheels and an exhaust system

300rwk is alot of power to have so young.

At your age it would be foolish of you to think you can handle that much power.

Start small, buy one of those Electric Superchargers ...they're only $300, will give a good starting point of 1 psi ...and then you can practice some burnouts in outlying car parks (TAFE colleges have some decent ones) without any chance of damage or injury.

I also suggest you look at a job with a higher income ...I've heard offshore work pays very well, you can start as a kitchen-hand or something.

Good luck mate ...keep up the sensible attitude. ;)

As I said Tocchi, save your pennies hard, and get one of those electric blowers ...a full turbo kit would be too hard for you to tackle at this time.

You will know you have joined the ranks of the big boosted boys when you can do this...

This is the benchmark for you to aspire to.

mark, could you send me a copy of that video (actual file) please
to mattbertocchi@hotmail.com

i looked at those electric blowers... but as said earlier, i want a TURBOCHARGER... not a supercharger, or electic supercharger

ebgt302, it's not the power thats dangerous... its the law. gotta make sure they dont catch me. but with a turbo charger they wont!~!!
