Sandown 400 Display Feedback

Postby pHaT`eL » June 8th, 2008, 6:11 pm

Well, ive just uploaded my pics from the day. Have to say, display looked awesome! So much interest in the cars too, although a couple of people wondered why they were there.
Everyone on the final list showed up with a VERY well presented car, cant wait for tommorow.

Heres my pics anyway..

Hey guys, had a great day, few laughs! Some at others' expense but all good!
I was really hoping the LTDHO beast was there to draw some inspiration from but not to worry.
Hopefully the Windsors will represent next year and out do the Inline 6's!

Good to meet some more peoples and everyone put in some effort with presentation which was great.

Thanks for a great day, y'all have a blast tomorrow too!

Yeah, the drag ute was hilarious. Supposedly it's a fair mess now. It had something like 15x15" rims on the back, and one of those was busted, roof caved in, etc.

I said this in the other thread, but it was a great display. The cars looked nice and clean, and everything was layed out well. It was a typical e-series exit though with plenty of belt squeal, for once not from my car!

WEll the pics look mad and im sure that we will see alot more on this thread.

FIRSTLY massive thanks to bomber for organising or the entering to the track as the old bastards today had no bloody idea at all what was going on.
SECONDLY even bigger thanks to PHAt EL you are a champ and as usual the boards were the best touch to our display. TO prove this point the fpv and xr club want to steal the idea for there displays.

And LAST of all everyone that attended it was good catch up and there were lots of fun had and some great convos made.

FORD 1st 2nd 3rd at the racings cant get better than that ( seeing as the holden won all the judging awards) LOL  . I cant wait til the next event or display for all of us.
