any one interested in a joint purchase?

hi guys

saw this car on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ford-fairmont-ed ... dZViewItem

im very keen to buy the car just cant raise the funds in time (unless i sell more off my eb im wrecking)

im not really interested in the wheels, motor or box

if any one is chasing a v8 conversion this is perfect, they can have all the wiring and ecu all bolt on accept the exhaust, everything els i dont need. has a great auto 2500 stall is perfect.

prices i was thinking are a bit like this

$800 - $1000 for wheels depending on tyres (with adapters if it has them)
$1500 - $2000 for the motor and box, depending on how much of it you want and how much work you would like me to assist, i can do the motor swap no worries i have all the tools and everything needed to do it.
$250 - $400 for the interior depending on condition, how much is wanted, centre, dash, trims, electrics etc.

im really only interesed in a rolling shell including the diff and suspension.

pm me if any one is interested in any parts off it.

cheers

Haha basically the whole thing really..

My EB is feked.. so i will be parting it out (when i can find somewhere to store it).

But once all that stuff is gone in going to look for something like this.

black + low + v8 = heart

hehe

Nah he's not saying it has a 20k paint job, just saying that it's a 15 year old car, and has paint imperfections as you'd expect. He mentioned in the ad that the previous sale fell through because of the buyer not liking the paint.

That is mint, way to good to wreck out IMO.

I'd sell whatever you have and drive this one. It's certainly an upgrade!

i know i didnt say im going to part it out

and i can assure you its not that much of an upgrade

all it has over my eb is pain, better diff and 500 rmp more of a stall

my motor shits all over that and then some haha

but it does look mint, and with my stereo in it it will be a great car.

im just taking the motor out and putting my motor in it. going that keep the auto and sell my auto.

As long as its only the engine/box/diff like he's suggesting, I'll still be veh veh happy (and jealous).
Mate I really think you should keep those wheels on it too... well maybe stockies or similar on the back..

yeah i want to keep the wheels

just cant afford it, the more i sell off it the better chance i have of getting it

i have a set of 18's right

im not parting it out ffs, why does every one think im parting it out???

im doing a motor swap. my motor shits all over that stock 5 litre.

when and drove it today, auto is mad, shifts harder then mine, stall is good too real tight stall on it. goes allright for a stockish 5 litre.
